Founded in Rome in 1985, Unidata initially designed and manufactured computer and server components. In the early 1990s, realising the full potential of the Internet, it added Internet Service Provider (ISP) to its core business. In 2004 it became a telephone operator.
A wholly Italian-owned company, it counts among its five current partners the three founders – Renato Brunetti, Marcello Vispi and Claudio Bianchi, – who from the very beginning of the business have always pursued a path aimed at innovation and the most promising expressions of technological progress in telecommunications.
